Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore will lock horns with each other in the Qualifier 2 match of IPL 2022. The RR vs RCB clash takes place on ay 27 (Friday) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore both played 14 matches against each other during the league stage. RR won 9 games and lost 5 matches. With 18 points, they finished in the 2nd spot in the points table and qualified for playoffs. RCB won 8 games and lost 6. With 16 points, they finished on the 4th spot in the points table and qualified for playoffs.

Rajasthan Royals lost their Qualifier 1 match to Gujarat Titans. Batting first in the match, RR piled up 188-6 on the scoreboard. Jos Buttler slammed a marvellous knock of 89 runs while Sanju Samson added 47. Later, GT’s Shubman Gill and Matthew Wade scored 35 runs each. With unbeaten 40 and 68 by Hardik Pandya and David Miller, Gujarat Titans won by 7 wickets.

Royal Challengers Bangalore faced Lucknow Super Giants in the Eliminator match in the previous clash. Batting first, RCB slammed a good total of 193-6 on the scoreboard with Rajat Patidar’s century (112*). Later, RCB restricted LSG to 193-6 in 20 overs. KL Rahul hit the most 79 runs for LSG but his team lost by 14 runs in the end.
